The Queen's Gambit

One month ago, exactly on October 23, 2020; Netflix premiered a miniseries called The Queen's Gambit. It is created by Scott Frank and Allan Scott.

The Queen's Gambit is a drama series that consists of a season of 7 episodes.

Synopsis:

Beth Harmon, an orphan girl, is transferred to a girl's orphanage where she developed incredible skills for chess until she became a child prodigy. Some years after, she's adopted by a married couple and starts playing chess matches and becoming the best chess player.

 

In my opinion, The Queen's Gambit is a very interesting series, even you don't know anything about chess. The story is very well told and very well represented. If you are going to watch this series, I guarantee you'll get hooked on it.
